Back!
Wow! After an amazing three weeks in the Far East, I'm back! Though I miss being surrounded by Asians and having Asian food readily available....***sigh*** Arrived yesterday afternoon and already back to work. As soon as I get my computer fixed, I'll be able to post more about my trip and the knitting supplies I acquired! 'Til then!

Where did you go? I can't wait to see the knitting supplies-- ppl that I know that have gone (I've been but before I started knitting- damn me!) have brought back angora and sorts of stuff.
Welcome back! ~Sp9~
I went to Korea for two weeks (Busan and Changweon on the southeastern coast and Seoul) and to Beijing for one. Korea is just fabulous! I really want to go back... Apparently, knitting is pretty popular in Korea, but not so much in China. But in Korea, they have their own trends. This past season, it was scarves, apparently. My friend said that she saw some amazing work. But I actually only bought three balls of orange cotton yarn for my placemat project and a Korean knitting book. In China, I bought more knitting books and a butt-load of yarn and supplies... Cotton and wool of various colors and some clover knitting supplies (a small box with stitch-holders, pins, etc, a chibi, and a thingmybob for doing hairpin lace). Photos to come when my photographer friend gets back (he's in India at the moment)! Of course, I have to get my computer working again as well.... We'll see how long that takes!
